The Clare Valley Festival of the Lamb is excited to announce a woolly new addition to our 2025 celebrations! In collaboration with the SACWA Warnes Group, we’re launching the inaugural “Clare Valley Knitted Flock of Woollen Lambs” exhibition.
What is the Flocking of the Sheep?
The Flocking of the Sheep is a community craft initiative where people from across Australia are invited to knit or crochet sheep using sheep’s wool. These woolly creations will form a delightful flock that will be displayed throughout the Clare Valley during the festival, appearing in local businesses, cellar doors, and community spaces.
After the festival concludes, all the sheep will be rounded up and donated to children’s charities, bringing joy beyond our celebration.
